John Rhind Funeral Directors has served the Canterbury community from our site, 15-19 London Street, since 1881.

Located at the top of Bealey Avenue, five minutes from the Christchurch CBD, the site includes a modern chapel and catering lounge.

The John Rhind Chapel and all its amenities are available for funeral services at no extra charge, and we have an organist available to accompany services and to help choose the right music if required. The chapel also has a modern sound system and powerpoint technology.

Our catering lounge is an easy solution for people wanting to get together after the funeral service, without the hassle of catering and cleaning up afterwards.

There is also plenty of parking available, with special parking spaces next to the chapel for close relatives.
